Positioned For Glory

Acts 1:12-15 tells the story of those disciples that remained and followed through, with what they had been instructed by the lord to do. Most times when we mention waiting we picture a impatience person standing idol upset at someone being late. This was not the case of the 120 obedient disciples that were gathered in the upper room. This whole group devoted them selves to constant prayer on one accord.Wow what a description of them. Waiting meant they would lay before God tarry to be frank til they received what was promised. Friends are you positioned for glory or distracted by your own desires. We are called upon by the lord Jesus to lay aside the weights and sins that easily overtake us God has promise that he will empower us and dwell among us making the changes we couldn’t ourselves. God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.
